Itinerary
- Day 1
5:00 – 06:00 AM: Depart from Kolkata (1St Pickup Point-Indian Museum, 2Nd Pickup Point- Science City P.C. Chandra Garden.): Board an AC vehicle for a comfortable drive to Godkhali, the gateway to the Sundarbans (approx. 3 hours).
8:00 AM: Arrival at Godkhali: Transfer to our boat and receive a warm welcome with tea/coffee.
9:00 AM: Begin Boat Cruise: Start your Boat cruise through the picturesque waterways towards the Sundarbans, enjoying the scenic beauty of the mangrove forests.
10:30 AM: Explore Sajnekhali Watchtower: Visit the Mangrove Interpretation Centre and Sajnekhali Watchtower to spot wildlife and learn about the unique mangrove ecosystem.
12:00 PM: Boat Cruise to Sudhanyakhali Watchtower: Enjoy a guided tour of Sudhanyakhali Watchtower, a prime spot for observing diverse wildlife, including the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.
1:00 P.M.: A visit to Do-Banki Tiger Reserve and
its watchtower. Enjoy an unadulterated view of wildlife from a guarded
enclosure on the 896 meter long canopy at Do-Banki Tiger Reserve.
2:00 PM: Lunch on Boat: Savor a delicious lunch on the boat while cruising through the serene waters of the Sundarbans.
2:30 P.M.: See five rivers meet at the Panchamukhni River Junction.
4:00 PM: Return to Godkhali: Begin your return journey to Godkhali, reflecting on the day’s adventures.
5:00 PM: Depart for Kolkata: Board the AC vehicle for your drive back to Kolkata.
8:30 PM: Arrival in Kolkata: Arrive in Kolkata, marking the end of your day tour in the Sundarbans.
